What is the profession of an optician?
Nathan: This job involves advising on the purchase of visual aids such as glasses, contact lenses, etc., while meeting the needs of customers. In this way, we must make aesthetic and technical recommendations. The second step is to order the lenses and assemble the glasses, then check that the customer is satisfied and feels good with the new glasses.
Enzo: The work of an optician is varied; we are both with customers and at the workshop taking care of assembly. You also need to have a certain taste for aesthetics and know the latest fashionable frames. Sometimes, we also conduct eye exams.
